Who we are
Linguisticai is a service of Linguistico. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Linguistico, which is responsible for the personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
We only collect personal information when you send it to us through the quote form. That includes:
- your name and email address
- your company and industry, if you give them
- the languages, deadline and notes you enter
- any document you upload
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and our fonts and images are served from our own site.
How we use it
We use what you send to scope your project, reply with a price and turnaround, and keep in touch about that request. We process it because you have asked us to give you a quote. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without asking you first.
Your documents
Documents you upload are used only to prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. Only the people working on your project can see them. If your material is sensitive, we can sign an NDA before you send anything.
Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not an automated program, is sending it. To do this, Turnstile collects some information from your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, and sends it to Cloudflare. Cloudflare uses it only to tell people and bots apart and to keep its service secure, not for advertising. Turnstile does not set tracking cookies. Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and the quote form, including our website host, our form processing service and Cloudflare. They handle your information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. Some of them may store or process it outside your country; where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.
Like most websites, our host keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and documents for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any project that follows, and then delete them. If you do not go ahead, we delete your request and documents within 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, or to have it sent to you or someone else. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, though we would appreciate the chance to sort things out first.
